So many losing jobs?

I have been reading loads of discussions where people are losing their jobs, havent enough money, losing their homes. Im getting a bit worried, where can this all end? Credit crunch?? Crap, its the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. My concern is that ordinary people can only take so much, then, bam, explosion, lost. Are you concerned that there may be revolutionary waves around, I am?

I'm not at all concerned. The rich aren't getting "richer" right now. I know quite a few people who are rich, worth millions rich, and they are maintaining. I think people, including myself really need to live within their means, and not to owe the maximum of everything they make every month! I used to be that way and finally decided that while things were busy I would not increase my spending except to pay off debt! I saw the slow down coming. Everyone should have. I was blessed with enough work then to "get by" now. It's stinks but I am getting buy, looking forward to better days. And they are coming for sure. It's just a matter of when. People survived greater hard times than these without a revolution. Hang in there.

When someone has only got five cents in their pocket because some rich git ripped them off, its a little difficult to take that philosophy. But I do appreciate your response, thanks.

I can understand that! I have been ripped off too by a few rich and not so rich. I didn't understand the "ripped off" part of the discussion, so my answer must have seemed clod and callous, sorry!

Sorry redkathy, ripped off is of course a UK terminology, I didnt mean to belittle you. I know you understand where I am coming from, but sometimes it is so difficult to comprehend why, what we consider to be ordinary people, shite on people from a great height and walk away happy, whilst we rot, suffer. etc. Stuff em I say. Thanks for the response.

No I'm not concern about these people america has become passive and we the people may belly-ache a little but we will not rise-up and tell our government enough is enough and that its time for a change all across the enocomonic landscape.I'm not getting rich in this enocomy but someone is ...like the big oil companies if the rich isn't getting richer then what do you call the shareholders of these big oil companies?

I am also worried about the increasing amount of poverty here in our country. Most of the middle class families are going abroad to alleviate the difficulties brought by the crisis.
