General or Interest?

Is it better to post a discussion in a specific interest or would it be better to just put it in the general discussions? I never know what i should do

hi hockey...it doesn't matter. just do both and try different things. you don't want to get into a rut. keep it interesting.

I think you should, or at least I always do, pick an interest. I think this way is more likely for people who are interested in your topic to find the hot new discussion you posted. If it is in general interests it will take a long time to acquire readers and responders.
