What would you do with your spare time if myLot decided to close it's doors? I would miss this site something fierce but can entertain myself with crafts and working on a couple of other programs on the computer. Have met so many nice people and would hate to lose contact. Thanks for sharing.

I would miss a lot of people. I would hope we could find another spot to hang out in and hopefully one that paid or I would have to just write a brief note to the people I was closest to at least once a week. I hope it never does, but businesses fold all the time. Take care

You are right, businesses do fold or are bought by another firm or people and move on. This has been a fun site and is still growing like crazy. I mentioned in a discussion a very long time ago how we should get some of the member's email addresses. I have done that and do keep in touch. Thanks for responding.

That is a good idea. I wish I had one friend's email address because I wonder how she's doing, but I know she's too busy to respond. She's going through a rough time right now. Take care and thanks.

Well, from someone who has been an Active member in here for over 22 months now, it would be a shame if this site ever had to do so, and I would really miss some of the wonderful people and friends I have made here on this site as well. I feel that this site is one of the best things going, and I am proud to be a member of it. There might come a day when this will happen, so until then let's just continue to be Happy and enjoy one anothers company not allowing the small things of life get in the way.

If mylot folded I think I would read more and write more. I would spend more time on my own blog and doing different things to save a little more money as the month wears on. I would miss the site sure, but it wouldn't ruin me completely. Good question though.

I think if MyLot folded I would make more money online because I wouldn't get so distracted! I love MyLot and will stop in to check it out only intending to be hear a moment and find that an hour or two has passed and I have to drag myself away to get work done.

I sure hope that they would pay everyone off before closing. But I would just keep trying to find other money making avenues. I hope that they stick around for a long long long time.. I would not be able to get a hold of most of the people on here.. that would stink!

I wouldn't have anything to do early in the morning or late at night when on the computer. I also enjoy this site so much. Thanks for responding.

Well, I'm quite new to this community yet, but I'd surely miss it if it closed. I think that I already did some friends in here (or, at least, people that I love to talk and discuss), and I think I'll stay in here for a long time. Cheers for myLot, and let's hope it never ends. =)

that would be a life changing thing! I would hope you had time to contact those that you still wanted to be in touch with.....I probably would be doing more writing like I should be doing! LOL....and working on crafts too. Let's hope it doesn't fold!

I doubt it will fold. Something lurking in the back of mind says that someone has a gold mine here....lol I also should do some writing that makes sense and not write articles about tatoos on my butt! Thanks for responding.

If MyLot ever closed it's doors, which I hope it doesn't, I would spend more time doing things I enjoy, like playing online scrabble.. Well, not only that, but I have a tax office to run during tax season, a part time job, and we are getting ready to open a used bookstore in a couple of months. Plus I have my kids and grandkids to keep me busy. I'm sure I could find plenty to keep me busy.

If myLot ended then it would be a bit weird for a day or two, but then I would soon find something to fill the empty space. I put a lot of things to one side when I joined here so I would soon pick them back up again!

I understand about delaying alot of things in order to participate in myLot discussions. I do it all the time. Thanks for responding.

Well I can see that for those who started a 1000 or more discussions it could be pretty traumatic. I've only started 30 odd, in the few months I've been here. In any case the internet is so huge, I can't imagine it would be long before anyone could find new ways of entertaining themselves. Think I spend too long on the net myself. Went off to Glastonbury today and bought a few magazines and books, so should be logging off soon...

It could be terribly traumatic for some. I would be upset but would find something else to do on my computer. Thanks for responding.

I believe that I would be quite disappointed myself if myLot came to a close. I hope that it won't happen. This site has seemed to generate a lot of people and is gaining more. It is truly a fun site to meet new friends and gain some wisdom here and there. You can earn a little extra money and I wouldn't want this type of entertainment to go away. Let's pray that it doesn't.

I would be sad to find out if mylot left for good, but I would try to find other things to occupy my day.

I would probably look for another social networking site just to entertain myself. This has been an amazing site. Thanks for responding.

I really don't know I will have to find something else to occupy my time, I have online games I play I guess I will go back to them. I have other pay sites that I am a member of but they may as well fold because they have all of our cash outs pending and have been pending now for about 4-5 months and members are hesitating about continuing. I will find something to do. I hope it doesn't fold.

I would also miss this site, would miss the friends the most and then would miss the learning experience, seems like I learn something new on here almost daily. I guess I would just have to play on pogo or work out on my new wii fit more. Let's just hope that if mylot ever decides to close it's doors that we will have enough head's up so we can exchange email addresses with our friends.

I know exactly what you are saying. Pogo is fun for short periods of time. This has been a great site and I have exchanged email addresses with a couple of people so we can keep in touch. Thanks so much for responding.

I also belong to MyYearbook.com. But it doesn't compare with the discussions on MyLot.com.
