A few hours a day. Quite guilty letting her watch too much as well. Sometimes we do other stuff like listening to music, play at the playground or do some art work. My daughter loves Elmo!

My daughter only watches TV a few times a week. No more than half an hour in one day. So I would say she averages 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours a week maximum. There are weeks she goes without watching any television too.

You done great job. I wish i could be like you, no tv all day. She watch tv for 2 hours a day. My daughter is 1.7 years old. Some time she watch it closely..And if she couldnt sleep, turn on tv. Is it good or not?I feel guilty too that i might made tv as babysitter. I have read that too much tv isnt good for baby to 3 yrs old kids.

I'm expecting, so I know I'll be dealing with this in the future. I think a couple of hours is fine. I think it's great that kids weatch shows appropriate for them Kids should also spend time playing, learning, and interacting.

I'm actually expecting, so I know I'll be dealing with it in the future. I think those shows are great for children, and I think it's nice they watch shows appropriate for tehm. I think a couple of hours of it would be fine. I think kids should also spend time playing, interacting, and learning new things.

Not much. Maybe 1 hour just watching barney's. But that's it for the day. Most of the time he's listening to music. Thus now that he's 13 years old, he would rather listen to music rather than watching the tv.
