Phelps is considered a GOD in Olympics for his 8 Gold medals. I wonder if anyone would be able to beat him out in the future. When he got 3 or 4 gold medals itself i was like my god this guy is great. And in the end when i heard 8 gold medals i was And in the end when i heard 8 gold medals i was It's the biggest achievement an individual has ever obtained in the Olympics. His country and people would be so very proud of him. I don't think so there would be another Michael Phelps soon though but can never say as "The unexpected always happens"

There will be. And that is, who else, but me. Nah just kidding. I just idolize him so much even if I am not an American. Go Phelps! and whoever the next Phelps will be, go whoever you are! ;D

I suppose the same question could have been asked after Mark Spitz won 7 medals in the 1972 Olympics in Munich. It took 36 years for someone to meet his challenge, and then to over take him. Some day, as athletes get stronger and stronger, there will be another Michael somewhere, some place. I do hope the next one is another American.
