Favorite Type of Movies

There are different types of movies. Comdey, Horror, Action, Science Fiction, etc. I was just wanting to see what type of movies people on here like watching and why you like watching them. If you could also add what is the best movie you have ever watched in that catagory of movies add that also and why.
I will start off this discussion. I love to watch Horror films because I like being scared especially when I am with my boyfriend when we are watching it. The best movie I think that was ever made was Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy Kruger is the bomb and best evil monster ever created.

Comedy is by far the best catagory. I love to laugh. That is why I love comedy. I like watching Jeff Dunham, Jeff Foxworthy, and all the Jim Carry movies. These actors know how to make people laugh.

I agree there are a lot of different kinds of movies out there,just like there are a lot of people who like one type but dislike other types,that is cool that you like horror movies,I myself prefer comedy and action movies,comedy because I love to laugh and laughing is the best medicine,and action because there is nothing better than being at the edge of your seat up until the end.

I love science fiction and suspense stories.
I love the thrill and suspense it gives me.
Aliens is my favorite Science Fiction. And
Silence of the Lamb is my best suspense movie
ever.

I love those two movies! I just watched Silence of the Lamb the other day. Hannibal is so creepy yet so clever all in one.

I like to watch science fiction movies,that's because I like to see the most advanced technology and all the wonderful imagination.My favorite science fiction movie is I,robot.It tells a story about the future world and the problems of using robots in our daily life.It shows that technologies can make our life better but sometimes it can also bring some dangers.
Another type of movie is movies about spies or special agents.These movies are full of secrets and in the end the secrets will be told.

Well I love comedy and animated movie and love story and war stuff..My favorite is troy,Wall-e,all adam sandlers movie and city of angels..That's my best movies.About horror,mmm I am really scared because I usually got nightmares when I am watchin it especially zombies so I don't watch it.I always want to laugh thats why I love comedy because it will make my day smiley..:-0 God bless and have a nice day

i love comedy. in a world where every second we are reminded of all this bad stuff (bombs, wars, inflation, global warming, accidents...and so forth) comedy just makes me relax. it eases me. for those two hours i laugh and get rid of all my stress. lately my favorite comedy movie is superbad. i laughed so hard during the movie. im sure you guys agree.

well as for me i love to all sorts of movies..
but preferably i like to watch the science fiction movies and fantasy movies,,
my favourite movies in this category are the core and the lord of the rings!!!
they are just one of akind movies!!

My favorite genres of movies are horror and mystery/suspense. Those genres gives me the goosebumps, and it's a turn on. Something that will have me on the edge of my seat is flippin awesome.

I love watching paranormal and funny movies. Two movies touched my heart. One of them was sixth sense and the other was dragon fly. They were very unique movies and a masterpiece. Apart from these I love any movie with a good meaningfulstory line. I do not like complicated movies, difficult to decipher. Actually movies are for entertainment. I do not like to rack my brains for movies too.

Horror, I love horror.
Although many don't scare me, it's the feelings I get for the characters that keep me watching.
