Would you ever use someone else's toothbrush? or have you ever used someone else's toothbrush before? if yes, was it weird? I have used my cousins toothbrush once but before i used i cleaned it and poured boiling hot water over it lol but i still felt really weird using it. it's kind of disgusting but i couldn't go without brushing my teeth! and i had spent the night over at his house and wasn't gonna be going home till real late the next night. So I had to use it that is the only time i think i've used someone else's tooth brush. I wouldn't ever let someone use my toothbrush, i don't think... maybe my parents or cousin but other then that, No. but luckily i don't think any of them will ever have to use mine lol we have a bunch of new ones in boxes. so they can just take one of those!

Ugh! No way! I won't use anyone else's and I won't let anyone else use mine. Nope! Gross! Even if I boiled it in water and sanitized it within an inch of any germs lives...nope! Not gonna happen. First of all, I don't like saliva. Not even my saliva. So, the thought of that alone would throw me into a tizzy. Then, there are still likely little particles of food in the toothbrush that can't be seen with the naked eye. Nevermind any germs. Nope! I would rather go without brushing my teeth until I could get home to my own toothbrush, or just put some toothpaste on my finger and rub my finger around and all over my teeth, than use someone elses toothbrush. I would even just run out to a grocery store near by to buy a new one. But, never will I ever use someone elses toothbrush! LOL!

I never share tooth brushes. I won't let any one use my tooth brush, and I won't ever use some one elses tooth brush. That is for health as well as mutual respect.

I'll never do this! I'd brush my teeth with my hands if I have to. I find it really unsanitary to share someone else's toothbrush. I saw a documentary on Discovery Channel before which showed just how much bacteria is in a toothbrush. Believe me, it's gross. According to the show, the number of bacteria in a toothbrush is the same as the number of bacteria on the tiles or bathroom floor. I wouldn't want twice that number going in my mouth thank you!

NO!DON'T SHARE TOOTH BRUSH! Everyone know that aids can infect by blood. If one's month is broken, the blood may nien on the toothbrush ,and when you use it again, catch up with your month is also broken. If so,you may get aids.even though ,that sounds absurd, impossible is nothing !watch out!Dont share tooth brush with others!take care of your self! MAY YOU HAPPY IN THE END!

I wouldn't let anyone use my toothbrush and I wouldn't choose to use someone else's toothbrush even if they really wanted me to. I view it as a personal item and it wouldn't be clean to borrow another person's toothbrush. I think that germs might be present and particles of food possibly. My college friend Gaby had friend visit her. The friend asked if she could use Gaby's toothbrush. She let her and I thought that wasn't a wise decision. Using boiling water is better than just using a toothbrush without cleaning it.

sameroad - hi. It is disgusting, and yes I have been in situations twice when I had to use someone else's brush. The first time, I asked permission and closed my eyes and my mind to the experience. The second time, I never even asked, because I hated admitting that I was dumb enough to forget a toothbrush. both times were family members, but how close is too close? Sharing toothbrushes is way too close for me. My mother keeps extra tooth brushes, but I'm not that organized.

I remember my younger sister used my toothbrush when she's very young because she don't know about it then. I yelled at her when I saw her using my toothbrush and I told my mom that she's using my toothbrush (what a brat!). After that, all went normal and my toothbrush is mine again. LOL

That happened to me 4 years ago when we were on vacation. I never thought that I had the same toothbrush as my cousin have on the medicine drawer so I put mine there too. 3 days later, I realize that there was two identical brushes and I really don't know which is which anymore so I had to buy another toothbrush coz I cannot stand on using that toothbrush again even though its from my cousin. lol

No. I would never share a toothbrush with anyone. I mean, if it's that bad, you can run to the Dollar store. You can get like 5 toothbrushes for only a dollar. I'm sorry but if I didn't have a toothbrush, I still would not use anyone else's. I would maybe gargle with mouthwash or something.

I had never an experienced sharing toothbrush. I had experienced the moment that I forgot to bring my toothbrush when I had slept with my friend, but I did not ask him to borrow his toothbrush. I just rinse my mouth with clean water, I asked him for a toothpaste, I put it on my finger which served as my toothbrush that time. Whew! Or even if I will lost my toothbrush, I can not use a toothbrush of my family member or friends. For me toothbrush is a very personal thing not to be shared with.

no and never. if i have to use someone else's toothbrush, i will do the same as you did. i will completely wash it with soap, maybe lots of soap , and then pour it with 100 degrees water. this remind me to a movies started by richard dreyfus and bill murray. i forget the tittle.

I think that using someone's toothbrush is digusting and especially someone you are familiar with uses it.I never shared a toothbrush with others. But I heard that the students in the dorm may sometimes use their roommate's toothbrush by mistake.Well it is funny to hear that.

I'm not a germaphobe but I wouldn't. Just the thought of having that in your mouth. Yeah they might have had clean teeth once they were done brushing, but think of how germy their mouth was before they started. No matter who it is, I don't think I would ever be able to use someone elses toothbrush.

Well, i had tried to used other's toothbrush but i think it is not weird since i was only a child. But your case its too obvious and weird cause you are not a child, that is what i think in other people can say. But for me, that is okey cause you poured a boiling hot water over it and is not being weird, the part of it that people can say that is so weird is when you gonna say that without telling them, you put some hot water before using it.hehehe, Again, for me thats ok cause u did it once and put some boiling water, and i dont think what other people can say.
