Sleeping with one eye open

When your kids are sleeping do you ever notice that they have one eye open. I noticed it the other night when I was checking on my kids. They were all asleep but one of them had one eye still open. I waved my hand in front of her to see if she was awake but got no reaction. It kinda creeped me out a little bit. Anyone else ever notice anything like that?

Yea it creeped me out the first time I saw it. She doesn't do it as much anymore. At least I'm not the only one who has seen someone sleeping this way.

My kids does and they still do sometimes. Feeling quite funny at first but already used to it.

When I first saw it I thought she was playing a trick on me by pretending to be asleep. I finally got used to it when I noticed she was sleeping like that almost every night.

Ya that's what I did when the first time I saw my son sleep with one eye opend. I move close and have a good look at him and whisper his name to check whether is he sleeping or not.

I have a cousin that sleeps with her eyes half open. I remember one night when she spent the night with us as kids, I was watching TV and heard her snoring. I looked over at her and saw her eyes part open. It tripped me out... so I got closer to her, she grabbed me ... scared the crap outta me. I guess you can sleep with eyes open.

You sure she wasn't just trying to fool you so she could scare you? Either that or she can be asleep and still see what's going on around her at the same time.
