My hubby has that almost every morning. Cereals with canned fruit. I can't stand it to have cereals all the time. My breakfast varies and sometimes I don;t eat breakfast at all. I eat early lunch instead and that will serve as my breakfast and lunch.. What about you?

There are periods of time when i do eat cereal for breakfast everyday. It is cheaper and an easy choice to me. Canned fruit? that I do not like everyday, fresh fruit might be nicer and cheaper if it is in season :) I sometimes skip breakfast and other it is pancakes or eggs.

I have not tried soy milk but at this moment I have no reason to. It is more expensive than regular and I do not want to buy it just to see if I like it or not. I know of dried fruit with cereal but canned food? I am with you, I do not want to try that either.

Me I don't eat breakfast. My kids on the other hand. They eat cereal everyday. I even tried getting up and fixing breakfast. They would rather have cereal. My husband is the same way. He will eat it for supper. I can not stand cereal that much.

It's my son whose very fond of Cereals so that every time I go to groceries I always make it a point to buy him different kinds of cereals because I know that would make him happy. He eats them with fresh milk or sometimes he eats them all by itself even while watching TV. I don't like cereals, I prefer rolled oatmeal and fruits instead.

Yes other young people are using cereals as their snacks.. That is normal in the Philippines, cereals for snacks but for a meal? I can;t stand it. But people here in US? most of them eat cereals for breakfast, well not all but mostly. yes, with Milk and fruits. I did not try it. I had oats and toast but not cereals. have a nice day.

I could see what you mean from American TV shows shown here. How they will pour cereals in the bowl and seemed to be enjoying a lot.

Oh yeah, I miss Filipino food. The reason why sometimes I don't feel like eating breakfast because I missed the Filipino style breakfast.

Whenever I eat cereals i tend to get hungry after 30mins. I think I cannot live eating cereals for breakfast. What I do eat during breakfast is rice and some viand or 3 pieces of peanut butter sandwich.

I don't hardly eat breakfast either, mine is bruch, late breakfast early lunch. Sometimes I eat cereal, if I'm in the mood for it. Well at least you don't have to cook breakfast for your husband if all he wants is cereal. Sometimes we'll even have breakfast at dinnertime too, I think its good anytime.

I only cook dinner for us both. His lunch has no problem because he always have sandwich with his favorite vege meat in it. Then fruits and chips. I only cook lunch for him when he is at home not at work. But very seldom.

Most days we do have cereal. A couple times a week I do make things such as cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs with toast & hashbrowns, scrambled eggs mixed with sausage wrapped in a tortilla shell with shredded cheese, french toast, and pancakes.

pancakes - A picture of delicious pancakes.
I like to eat breakfast if I can. It is better to make sure that you eat something in the morning to get your energy flowing. I should take my own advice though. I do like cereal but don't want it all of the time. I eat eggs and toast with coffee sometimes and I also like to make pancakes once in a while for my family. And sometimes I have breakfast later in the day if I am hungry.

Nobody in my family really eats that much cereal. We all eat grapenuts with yogurt, but that's about it. My 2.5 year old eats about two bowls of cereal besides the grapenuts each week. My husband might eat 1 bowl a week, and I don't even eat it that often. We usually have a wide variety (I think right now we have around 10 different kinds), I'm just not really a cereal fan. We usually start out our day with lunch foods, because it's so late in the day when we get up, since my husband usually works an off shift.

Oh really? that's good to have variety. I don;t know why my husband don;t want to change his breakfast? he has that Granola brand of cereals that he never changed with other brand even if Granola is out of stock sometimes? He will use oatmeal instead than trying another brand of cereals. He is a cereal fan.. not me...

I used to eat cereal almost every morning but can't anymore because of diabetes. Now I usually have a protein shake for breakfast. Sometimes I have eggs and sausage or something like that.

I would say that at this point in my life I do more cereal than I used to. The reason being that it's my best source of bran. I do however find that I splurge every now and again and go to McDonalds. But I do prefer a bit of variety as much as I can.
