Do you get paid more for starting a discussion or posting to a discussion?

I think I get paid more when I start a discussion and less to post to a discussion. What do you think is this true or false?

There is no set amount that you get for each post, whether it be a discussion or a response to a discussion. If you have a good topic for a discussion and you get a lot of responses, it will pay more. But if you start a dozen responses a day that no one bothers with, you've pretty much wasted your time. I try to have a good mix of both. I have a lot of tips about this sort of thing on my profile, you might want to check it out.

That is totally incorrect. You do not get a penny a post for anything. myLot has a very complex algorithm and you don't get a certain amount per post of anything here. Please read up on things before you post incorrect information.

There is on difference in earning for responding and starting discussion. Earning depends only our participation of discussion. There is no change in earning difference like you are saying. I like to respond to discussions started by others. Keep in touch

Personally I feel that it may actually be the opposite. Without being specific regarding amounts, on the days that I spend answering responses to my own discussions rather than posting responses to OTHER people's discussions my earnings seem to be less. But then again, if I DO manage to nail a discussion topic that gets a LOT of responses then it tends to even out! Overall though, I do feel that responding seems to be slightly ahead in terms of earning potential. I am interested to see what others think?

I don't know.I think it all depends on quality post and comments.I seriously, have no idea, since when I post a discussion,I really don't count and post it.Similarly, even when giving response,I don't remember how many.I am more interested in participating and I hardly remember how much I posted and responded today so far..
