Neobux up and running with new payout minimum

After the problems with Neobux this morning, it is back up and running. It had 5 ads for free members and they all loaded quickly, and were verified. Then I started looking around the home page and discovered on the "request payment" tab that they've upped their minimum payout to $3.00
Anyone else notice that?

Why do they raise it higher when you cash out? I would think it'd be the other way around - start with a higher pay out and lower it as you meet additional payouts. Start at $10 and lower it the more payouts you make - kind of like rewarding you for being a good member kind of thing. This seems more like they are penalizing you for meeting cash out!

I think maybe it's to encourage you to make a greater effort to get more referrals.

They are having differed pay out system. It changes with every pay out from $2, $3, $5 and $10. It was there before also in their FAQ.

Ok I see that now. I didn't read all of the "learn more". I figured the payout policy should have been in the TOS and all that says is Payout is $2 for now but that will change soon.
I'm getting a little upset with these sites that put one thing in the TOS which you have to agree to, and then something else in another place. Neobux isn't the only site that does that.

Hey guys what are you talking about. From yesterday i have been seeing that neobux is back. Someone said that to clear cookies. I also did that but still i can see the maintainence message.
What's going on. All of you can access neobux except me.

You haven't done payouts with neobux? 'coz they use a graduated payout schem. First $2, second payout - $3, third and so forth - $10. Unless they really have changed it. I'm on my third payout, hope they didn't changed higher. I better check it out. Thanks for the info.

I reached my first payout last week and was finally able to put in a request yesterday. I guess that's why my minimum went up. I haven't seen anything in the forums about this (I haven't read every single post of the however many hundreds there are) and it wasn't in the tos when I signed up or I would have written it down.

No. It is still $2.00 for the first payout. You probably requested your first payout, and thus the reason why your next payout is $3.00. Check out "Learn More" in neobux homepage to learn more about the TOS of the site.
And my Dad Ron was able to request his first payment yesterday for $2.82 from neobux. So if theres any changes, check out the forum for announcement and changes made in neobux.

It goes up $1 each time you request payout. My first was $2, then I rented some referrals, then I got $3 and now I'm waiting on $4 before I can request it again.
