I love to chat. I spend alot of times with real friends chatting. Its sometimes easier than making a phone call, especially my friends that may be at work and can't take personal calls but have access to the internet or have IM on there cell phones. I have alot of friends that I have never met personally but we have been chat buddies forever. I own my own company but have several locations, we use IM to communicate during business hours. I can be on the phone with a client and correspond with any of my employee's without leaving the phone call with the customer. This proves to be pretty effective. So not only is is great for personal business but can be incorporated into your work day as well.

Chatting is also another sort of addiction.Once you are addicted,it is very difficult to get away.It kills time. When I was in school, I was addicted to chatting a lot.I hardly study but spent most of my time logging into net and chat.It became a habit for me difficult to stop.I started spending less time with friends and absolutely no going out for me.Everytime I would make fake excuses to stay back in my room and chat. Then, one day, I realized that something is not right.I decided to stop chatting. But,it was not possible.I tried so hard to resist temptation.Diverted my thoughts,my mind to some other activities when I feel like going online.I started reading books and went out with friends again though much unwillingly in the beginning, then I realized what I was missing out in life. The fun,the joy of going out with friends and enjoying life outside my computer world was so much fun than the virtual friends and world.I am not against chatting, I still do at times but I am not addicted to it anymore. If I have my friends or cousins on online, then I do make voice call. But, I try not to get hook up on PC anymore.Everything should have its limit,we should not go beyond that limit.
