How much time do you take to post a discussion?

Was being just curious about how much time my fellow mylotters take to post a discussion. I normally take around 10-15 min (of my time in mylot) to come up with a discussion topic. And then say around 10-12 min to write up a discussion. And what happens to this time when you are responding to some discussions? I normally take say something less than 10min to do that.

It takes me less than 5 minutes only. Only if the topic impresses me I will open that discussion. It the description is too big, I will just skip to the next. Hehe. I don't have much patience. I am pretty good in typing. So it just takes me a minute or so to type. Hehe. I will take more time to select the discussion which I am going to respond. Hehe. Nowadays I find it difficult to find quality posts. Hehe. Happy mylotting. Have fun.

Yeah i guess that;s what happens with me too. I need to improve my typing speed though. Most of the time definitely is spend to decide whether to respond or not.. hehe

I take as long as it takes me to say everything I need to say to get my message across. I try to keep my posts short, but find once I get started I can talk forever about the topic. I had one discussion last night, I think took about an hour to answer as it was a very serious subject & I admired the person who started the discussion. I just could NOT be flippant enough to just say a few words. I wanted him to know I felt his topic to be of a very serious nature & wanted in NO way to minimize his questions. Some topics don't take much to answer & it will only take 2 maybe 3 minutes. Then there are those that I wonder why I even tried to respond.

It usually does not take me more than 5 minutes to post a discussion. I dont take the time to really read long discussions.

It takes me more than a half hour, Hehehe. My English is so poor that I need to check my words what I type again and again, as more as possible. I usually read the discussion and all the responses carefully, with the help of dictionary. Even though I do that, I think it's also many mistakes in my response. But I think it can help me improve my English. Of course, I eager to have many friends here who can help me. Have a nice day!

it depends on the content of your post and it depends in your wpm (words per minute) if you have a long paragraph content. it would take you about 3 minutes. but if you are a 40wpm typist, it would be just a minute.

I didn't really mean your typing speed. You also need time to think on what to post and stuff like that right. Which translates to the time taken to think about and create a discussion

Well being new here, I try to respond to everyone if that's even possible. I want to make everyone feel that their posts and responses have not gone unnoticed. Usually on very easy topics, it takes me about 2 to 3 minutes to respond to a discussion. And about a minute to post a new discussion. The trick here about starting a new discussion is to think of a topic first which I do not assume part of posting but as a preparation to post. Posting on the other hand only requires how fast you can type and hit post. I guess some may want to type them first locally on their pcs, save, then copy and paste on mylot. That all depends on how you do it. I hope this helps. Happy posting!

Almost the same time. I dont have much time to post, maybe 5 to 10 a day or even twice every week. But if I have the time I can stand up to an hour mylotting.
