Using Banco de Oro in Paypal Verification

There's been a lot of questions regarding the usage of banks in Paypal but this question is specifically about Banco de Oro: has anyone ever successfully managed to use a Banco de Oro ATM Debit Card (MasterCard) to have your paypal account verified? I picked MasterCard as a card type, placed the correct card number, typed in when my card will expire and inputted the security code... But it keeps telling me: "The credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card." I asked my cousin who works at BDO about it and she told me that they have been getting a lot of questions regarding verification from paypal via BDO MasterCard but she doesn't actually know the answer. So, has anyone been successfully verified using BDO? If you don't mind, can you share how you did it? I keep reading how we need to know the bank code or something, but I don't know where to get that and I don't know where one can type that in, either. Thanks for your time!

i experienced the same when i link my EON card to my paypal account. the same error message come out the page. the reason why i i received that error message was because my account was put on hold because the bank wasn't able to received the form that i have submitted to them for the activation of my account. i called the bank and they trace who received my documents. after they found the forms they called me and said my account was already active and i can link it to my paypal. well, i did it and it works. i wait for the 4 digit code for final account verification of my paypal, i receive the code few hours ago and i am now verified paypal users.

Ah, I see. Thanks for that. My cousin told me that since my card was a debit card, it's already activated in the bank, but I still haven't used the atm, so I don't have a pin for it yet. I'll try to put one on it tomorrow and try again. Thank you for your help!

I haven't use BDO in paypal because i don't have a paypal account. Hep hep don't think "and why is she responding here if she has no paypay account!". Well i have an alertpay account and tried using a bdo account. Though i haven't verified it yet if its possible, I called BDO Contact Center and they have given me The SWIFT code for BDO. Maybe you need this one. Here it is: BNORPHMM. That's the only thing they have. No IBAN and he others just Swift BIC. Hope that would help you. Keep us posted.
