First, I have to declare that I am not a docotor, so I am not able to prescribe here. I think panic attack could be cured by doing some traveling, or listening to some relaxing music. Hope this is good ways for you and solve your friend's problem. Have a good day.

I avoid situations that can lead to a panic attack. I don't go to Wal-mart is an example. Most business want you to be disoriented when you enter the store. It is one of their tactics to coerce you into buying more items. If it is people that cause the attacks, then your friend should avoid them. Plain and simple. The fire is hot so stay away from it.

Yes, one has to know where their ability stands inorder to comprehend it. Likewise health has its warning, to make us U-turn (recuperate) instead of charging straight on. Ty for response!

I tend to only have panic attacks when I am stressed or unhappy about something, I try and work through those things first and then the only other thing one can do aqt the time is to do deep breathing exercises at the time...

Just remind your friend to breathe slowly. They should think of a calming sight, like the ocean. Tell them you will be there for them. Another helpful thing is to make a list of the worst that could happen in any given circumstance. My daughter, when young, was afraid to turn in her overdue library book. She was in tears. So I had her imagine what she was afraid of. I asked her, for instance if she thought the librarian would yell, or tell her she was bad, or send her to jail? She laughed at this, and it helped. I know that a panic attack is worse than this. I hope the doctor helps her. Panic attacks often happen for unreasonable causes.

I also am experiencing panic attacks and what I do is I think of something that calms my mind like my daughter's laughter, or God making everything alright for me. I also make it a point to keep breathing so I won't pass out from a panic attack. Hope that helps.
