As far as scoring goes, What time does the myLot day begin?

As I was responding to one of the responses I had received, I was happy to see I had over 50 responses. I was hoping it would be viewed on the myLot Digest. From what I understand Its the most responses in a 24 hour period. When does that 24 hour period begin? I would like to know so that I submit my discussions at the beginning of their day so I can get the most responses as possible. I have begun to really focus on my ratings. I am loving myLot. I love all the people and being scored on discussions and responses is great. I really enjoy communicating about different subjects. Where better to do this than myLot? I am trying now to research myLots specifics. I am not sure on where to look for these types of answers. I thought some of my fellow myLotters may have the same questions and could help me. When is the best time to start a discussion? At what time do they start their mylot day? Is it a 24 hour period? How long is the myLot day? Is there any where to locate this information? Can you contact myLot if you have questions you dont know the answer to? I think I could be so much more if I knew the answers to these. I am sure it would help us all. Thanks dl

A year or so back I contacted myLot admin asking what time of the day was the cutoff for postings. I received at response that the cutoff was 11:00PM EST. So if you post anything after 11PM it will NOT be included in that day's count but will go into the next day's count.

You are the absolute best! The others had responded regarding CST. I was trying to figure out what that would be in EST. Its only an hours difference. I thought it would be later. Glad I asked. If it wasnt for you I would have had to start another discussion regarding the time difference. I dont want to seem that dumb. SO thanks for saving me. Happy myLotting my friend. dl

Oh dear, how confusing! I really dunno. I dunno who these Mylot people are, whether they are Indian or American or Chinese or British. All I know is that they do pay, and it is great fun here. I sure dunno when the day starts. They update my earnings somewhere around 7 or 8 p.m., and I live in India. Cheers and happy mylotting

Hopefully we can figure it out together. Or at least read on and learn from the fellow myLotters. I dont know what's got into me. I have become so interested in trying to get the most possible from myLot. I go back to full time soon. I wont be on as much then. Guess I am having my fun while it lasts. If you need to know anything, read on my friend. I am sure someone knows. Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone. Happy myLotting dl

I think I came up with the answer through trial and error. If you check the myLot profile it tells you one thing. Someone else said they did a search and found it was based in the Kansas City area. That seems to match, as it seems that things posted after midnight Central Time count for the next day. I used to stay up really late to try to meet personal quotas, etc. Then I found that they were in the same zone I was and their cut off for each day was at midnight my time. That cut out staying up til 2:00 am.If you go to the bottom of the page on your home page there is a tab that says "Messages" also at the tops of pages. If you want to you can send a message that way. Just type in myLot as person receiving the private message. There is also a tab at the bottom of the page that says " contact" and I understand that that works as well.

I actually talked to admin about this a year or more ago and their day ends at midnight but I can't for the life of me remember what time zone it was - I always get them confused anyway. But yes, you can contact admin or at least you used to be able to - I haven't been around much for several months but I've contacted them before.

See Our fellow myLotters have helped us out. I find it so frustrating. I am a competitive person. I want to get as many points as I can or money of what ever. I know have to figure out what time that is on the east coast. dl

Honestly I don't know either. That's why I get confused with my earnings because apparently half of my posts go to the previous day and half of it would go to today. I get confused really because of this.

Same thing happens with me. Hopefully we can find out somethings through this discussion. I feel better knowing that I am not alone. I didnt honestly realize how many people are on myLot. It has become the first place I turn when in need of help, how to, or general information. I love you guys. thanks dl

Well, for me in the USA, it starts anywhere from like 6 to 7 a.m. it looks like, but for something to count for me towards tomorrows earnings instead of today, that would be midnight PST. Which would mean midnight on the East Coast. So figure it out from there, if that is what you are referring too.
