why would you do grocery shopping online?!

I have done some minor shopping online for stuff that won't sell at the store and have always been pleased with my purchase. Never had any problems at all. Even have shopped for food online as well...yum

It would be easier as you don't have to actually go to the supermarket! But I agree, I don't trust them. I think I'd end up with everything about to go out of date or everything I ordered would be completely wrong! I like to have a look at the stuff I'm buying too, to make sure it's up to my standards and to see whther it's the worth the price that they are charging for it.

I do a lot of shopping over the internet but one thing I do draw the line on is getting my groceries, as you said you don't know if they are going to pick out the best of the stock, especially fruits and vegetables, I prefer to handpick them myself so I am not bringing home any bruised or battered fruits. I think it also gets you out, it is so easy to spend all your time on the internet and you could in theory buy everything, but then if everyone did that the shops would be empty! So there has to be a balance. Plus you don't know who's touched your goods and whether they have chosen the right dates on the products.

I really can't imagine grocery shopping on-line. I guess if you were handicapped and could not easily get out, it could be helpful. I would imagine that the people that do it, have their reasons. It must cost more, I'd think because there would be a delivery fee. I really hope i'm never in a spot to have to do that. I don't like putting my personal info on-line and i try to cut corners financially.

When someone orders something online, it takes a few days to arrive at their house. Because of this, it made me think about how ordering grocery online would work. I have not done it before and may not ever do it, but I have ordered pizza online before which is food.
