What is this creature....not an elephant

Look at this creature carefully. It looks like an elephant. But is it really an elephant. Click on the picture & you will get the proof. An elephant should have 4 legs. But it has many. Try to count it's legs. How many you can count?

Hey friend, What is this actually? It is an elephant but it has four legs and another two legs is just like..I don't know. I didn't read your comments for other responses so what it is actually?

It is an elephant with no tails. It has 4 legs. If you notice the at the bottom of its feet then you can see that those are not feet which does not have pencil markings.

I have seen this image before and whoever drew it is a very amazingly talented drawer indeed. I think that it's great, and it's so hard to tell which are the legs and which are not. Amazing.

At first i was also confused with it's legs. Then i looked carefully & found out which ones are not legs. Look at the bottom of its legs. Those are not legs where is no mark of pencil.

I had figured that those with no foot markings must not be legs, but it almost looks like the start of a marking for the back of the real foot... hmm, very great optical illusion.

good picture. I have seen this before though. And did understand from others that it has only 4 legs. But i still do get confused at times looking at the image and trying to figure out which are the 4 legs. Seriously confusing at times. But after all, its an elephant. That's the answer

It is certainly an elephant with four legs. That's one great optical illusion, leading you to see more than what is seen the first time you look at it. SO nice, eh? The one who initially drew this is really talented.

this is cool. i love optical illusions! i've seen a couple at a random site and you see the image better if it's smaller. it's an elephant all right. and like how all the others pointed out, why is there no tail?
