hello fellow parents. My 5 year old is bothering me again, I noticed that he loves to put things in a plastic, container, or a box. when we came from the grocery, he would collect the sachet plastic and put something in it, maybe a small car, a block or any of his toy. when we buy frapuccino in starbucks, he would get the paper bag and put some of his things there. even the paper that holds the Mac Donald's fries, he took it and put a small hot wheels inside. and just today, he took the small box (of tea, he took out the teas) out of the food container and put something on it. I am really bothered because he is starting to have interest on plastics and container with something on it, unlike before that he would only ask me for those that are not in use. I don't know where he is coming from, does a five year old kid really acts that way?

Get her a 'toy organizer' or those plastic drawers or plastic shelf toys. Her mind is picking up things she sees around and she's focusing on shelvings. Teach her how to mimic shelving into her toy drawers where she will put her things. Or better yet, introduce her to other activities like singing, dancing, reading, pets, puzzles, colorings, etc. Be patient, thats the foremost virtue of being parents coz you need to put your big shoe into those little cuties.

Get him a cheap set of tupperware. My son loves hiding toys too. Mine also takes everything he can his hands on and "blasts off." My daughter clears off the top of her dresser and sleeps there. Kids do some odd things, but the best way to handle it is to let them have their fun. He's not starting fires, don't worry about it. You could get him a rug with roads on it and have him make a town with all of his containers. Save all boxes and containers in a special place for him, but if needed, set limits, like no emptying containers.

They really are odd in so many ways. Those plastics and container, he bring it with him all the time. When go to bed at night, he put it beside him and when he woke up he eats with it on his side. He is just crazy with those.
