Well everybody does right, but nobody wants to die. So why do you think you'll end up in heaven? If ever you'll be ask by St.Peter or whoever is in charge up there, what good have you done down there? What would you say?

That's a hard question, I would feel arrogant making a whole list here why I should go to heaven. I guess I would say because I love my friends and family and will do anything to help them and keep them safe and comfortable. Also, that I have chose to study to become a pedagogue to help children and parents in trouble so they can get back on track, as the bonding between parent and child is very important and I will do anything in my power to help restore that trust and love.

A pedagogue is someone who has studied basic psychology and dissorders that children may have and is trained in observing children and parents and help them establish a good relationship again and give tips on how to improve parenting skills. They can also work in psychiatric care, schools and child day care. it's pretty broad. Thanks for the lovely compliment .

Thanks for the added information and vocabulary. Being a pedagogue I think is hard. Thanks for defining it to me.

wow that is quite admirable of you. I like that part were you say you like to help children and parents who are in trouble, but I don't know what pedagogue means. And I am too lazy to look for its meaning here in the net. Could you tell me what's the meaning of pedagogue?

Yea. I definitely want to go to Heaven but am not sure whether I am qualified yet. I do hope I am. However, one thing I am sure of is.. if we go by the definition of 'good' in bible, many of us might not be able to make it there. If he asks me what good I've done, the recent good thing I've done is to escort a blind couple across the road.

Haha.. I guess so too. But another thing I believe is.. He, who is above us, judge us by our Heart and not only by our actions.

Who doesn't right. Well if we would base good in the bible only newborns will be saved. Even kids now are violent and as I may say bad, maybe because of the influence of the environment, tv, games and parents. Escorting a blind person to cross the road is a nice thing, I just don't if that would be enough for him to let you pass. Thanks poohgal.

I want to go to Heaven, but I believe that I became one through faith that Jesus Christ is the son of God and God called me to be one of HIS sons and daughters, and that by faith I gain the ability to do good deeds. They are not in my human nature, and what good deeds I do is attributed to God working in me. I am by nature a selfish person, and so I may not do as much good deeds, i.e. giving to the poor, as some other naturally unselfish person. I may glorify God in other ways. I can sing and I can write and I love children and can comfort them. So I will say that I am not as good or unselfish as the other people, and I come by faith not by works and I did the best I could.

You are absolutely right that everyone would like to be in heaven but do not want to die for now for I am not yet sure if i could go direct to "heaven" because I still have to do a lot of things in here and to those people that I Love still need me to be with them so in the time that i am sure that I helped out already a lot of people then for sure not in my time but by God's time, he will take the life that he give unto us......In His Time.

I would say, "When I was down there I'd done everything I could to correct everything that seems to be wrong in my family and help my relatives as long as I can. My conscience were clean while I am doing those things so I guess it was the best thing to do and all I had wish for is to have a normal life, that's why I'm doing those things." It is up for St. Peter on whether I pass the gates or not..

On my book based on what you said. You passed with passing colors. But that is me I don't know with Saint Peter though he's kinda strict in permitting souls in. But good luck to you nytrisco, I'll pray so that you will pass. Just review your lessons and surely you'll pass. What am I talking about? ahhh. Now I remember, do you have any plans in going there soon? Nah just kidding you. Thanks nytrisco.

well first of all, your disscussion implies that everyone beleives in a god on this site, or more specifically, christianity. but to answer your question, I'm personally agnostic, meaning that I beleive that it's impossible to know if god exists or not, so i just don't let myself think about it. But if there is a god, then I also think that as long as you lead a good life it doesn't matter. So even though I'm not religious, If there is a god, I think I'd go to heaven.

How can you go to heaven if you don't believe in it? Because if God doesn't exist then heaven too doesn't exist. Anyways thank you for your nice response it's an eyeopener for me.

I believe in God, I will go to heaven. But what I do down here on earth has nothing to do with my getting into heaven. I will be judged, yes. But the reason I am going to heaven is because I have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. Only he can save us. I have asked him to be my Lord and saviour. I am a sinner and will continue to be one because I am human. Only he can forgive me. I pray and ask to be more like him and to have assistance in living a Christian life. Jesus chooses who he will save, who's heart he will pursue to impress upon and change their heart towards him. We have nothing to do with it, it is all God.

This is a really hard question but half the people here probably dont even believe in god, sadly. When the time comes and if somehow he asks me why I deserve to go to heaven, I will have the right answer.
