I am just curious how many people treat their pet like their child. Who let's their pet sleep in the bed with them? I will admit my dog is like my child since I happen to not have any of my own yet even though I want children. Also yes I do let my dog sleep in the bed with me. I tried to get him to sleep in his own bed when he was a puppy but he just would not do it. even when i put it right next to my bed then he would just try to climb up in my bed.

My only child has moved out out of the house and I do treat my dog like my child. He is really cute and sweet. He sleepsin my bed and is very nice and cute. I tried to keep my dog out of my bed when he was a puppy but he cried all night long so I had to let him sleep with me. That was all he wanted to do. Once he was in the bed he was happy.

That was the same way for my dog. He was not happy unless he was in my bed laying next to me. Now he is a big dog and he decides to lay down next to me and right in between my husband and myself. He will lay with his back against me and then stretch his long legs out and push my husband. that is one of the reasons i like sleeping on the inside of the bed so that he cant try to push me out of it.

I have two cats, they are more than welcome to share our bed, actually they used to, then they stopped. First, my oldest cat would sleep with us, I had horrible nights sleep, because I did not want to move and disturb her. She suddenly stopped. The the younger one started sleeping with us. This has been a rather hot summer, and he stopped sleeping with us, preferring to sleep under the dining room table in a chair. Every now and then, I will wake up in the night and find him curled up by my husband.

Lets just say that, when my husband brought home a puppy, I told him that if it so much as set foot in my bedroom I would pack my bags and leave. I would not have it in the room whilst I'm eating or preparing food either... I am prepared for people to be horrified but thats the way it is for me.
