My daughter (Minnie) released from the hospital

First off thanks to all you concerns, prayers, thoughts, and well wishes for my daughter during her few hour stay at the hospital Saturday afternoon/evening. She has been released this evening. the contractions were stopped with a shot and her cramps have eased up a lot. She still isn't 100% but well enough to go home etc. She feels relieved that everything is okay now and that she is a free woman again. HAHAHA! Her and her hubby have left for the trip to his family up north and she plans on having a good time and being lazy and relaxing. They will return Sunday night. Once again thanks all for your thouights and pryers for my daughter Minnie. Now grandpa Bob can relax for the rest of the weekend. (hopefully)

That is great news. I hope her trip is a good relaxing one. I know with my last pregnancy we were planning to go to see my dad and I still had 3 months to go before she was due, well instead of going to my dad's I was in the hospital and had to stay there until my daughter was born almost 3 weeks later. My problem though was nothing like Minnie's.

Ouch that would have sucked. They let me go but the doctor wants to see me soon and often. I go back to doc tomarrow.

The friendships here are one aspect that I treasure at MyLot. I am glad Minnie is going on with her weekend. That new baby will be here soon enough.

Yes I have mader quite a few great friends here in my 2 plus years. I've met a couple from here as well already and hope to meet even more. Thanks again friend.

I am glad that Minnie is doing much better and is able to go on her trip. I am also glad that you can rest to now that Minnie is doing lots better.

Me rest?
I was always resting. I am not the worry wart ;like her and my wife. they wory about everything. Hahahaha! But I can watch TV now without having to make a call to Minnie to see what's up.

Oh this is great news GRANDPA BOB...thanks ever for the update. I guess she was antsy pantsy to get out of that darn hospital and can now relax and have some well deserved fun to her hubby's family. My prayers are still with her

Yeah she was worried at first because she is like her mom, a serious worry wart.

And im still worried lol. The crampings gone so i feel better but the contractions came back but they arent doing anything i guess.

I just walked in the door and sat here immediately.
I have to run out for some cinnamon sticks for the bread and butter pickles in the morning. So I'll be doing them before lunch on Sunday. Thanks again.

will be able to make the trip and get away to relax. Now
you and Grandma can relax for the weekend too. So get to

I always relax as far as things like this.
She is a grown woman and has her hubby.

I am glad Minnie is doing ok now and on her trip I hope she does alot of relaxing and being lazy thats what she needs to do right now,keep us informed.You have a great weekend.

It's about a 3 hour drive.

Ha sleep as if. The trip was not un but i survived it and i had lots of water in me which meant lots of bathroom breaks.

Yes - bathroom breaks are the bane of a pregnant woman's (as well as a menopausal woman's) existence, I can agree with you there!!! My guy friend hates road trips with me because he thinks because he can hold his water, I should be able to as well. Yet, who does he expect to drive the car? Moi! So, I stop as needed. HA!! But, I am very glad to make your acquaintance and that all worked out well. Don't forget to drink - the little one is helping to push it out and you need to keep it in there!!! (Plus, it helps keep the volume up of that lovely warm pool in which he/she dwells at the moment.) Take care and congrats on all working out!!

I am back and still having contractions but the cramping is gone thank fully. I am drinking more and will be seeing my doc tomarrow.

I've been gone all day and did not even know she was in the hospital. I'm so glad everything is okay now. Sounds like she needs some relaxation time. Probably be the best thing for her. I will be praying for her continued health...and baby's too.

Thank you. So far no more dialating but now the fear is not knowing when im in labor as my contractions are three minutes apart and doing nothing lol.

That is such wonderful news AGB! I have to admit i was very worried about minnie and baby Savanna and it is such a relief to know she is doing better. I was confined to hospital for months before I had my eldest and it really isn't any fun! Hope you ended up relaxing all weekend and not worrying about your baby girl and HER baby girl! Hugs xxx
