The first time I played in the rain, I was scared of it! My aunt Kelly was down visisting...babysitting me. She tried to convince me that it was fun. She ran out into the rain and told me she couldnt move. She said I would have to come join her. I swallowed my pride and went out there. I was only 4 at the time. She started tickling me. I saw there was nothing to be afraid of in the rain! I love the feel of the mud squishing between my toes!! Now days, you cant tell me that I cant go into the rain..I can barely wait for it to rain again to go play in it!

I am not sure when the first time I played in the rain was but I am sure it was when I was a kid,and I was probably afraid of it,and I still do not like being in the rain very often because it is wet and makes me cold, even though if it is just drizzling sometimes I like to stand out in the rain, and I want to dance with my fiance out in the rain one day, because I think it would be very romantic.

I was around 5 when I started playing in the rain simply because my brothers and sisters are doing it and I don't want to be left out. I felt so happy and contended then and I regard it as the best part of my childhood. Now that I am grown up, I can't play in the rain anymore. I really miss the good old days with my friends and brothers and sisters when we are playing in the rain.

Thats awesome that you wanted to join in with your brothers and sisters! I'll admit, even as a grown-up, I still play in the rain when I visit my mom and dad! It brings back old memories and it's fun!!

Dear friend, I do hope it was when I was a kid and I was said to be pretty naughty and I used to play in mud and rain and when I was bit grown also I used to play in rain and even now too I love to bath in rain and I hope may be I was above 3 or 4 years I just run out in rain whenever rain comes and until some take me inside the house I will be out playing in the rain. Someone of family takes to home and locks the door and later when I grew up this was bit reduced as in between I had fever and cold and I was given advises not to play in rain.

I was around five, maybe, when I first played in the rain. I can't really remember. But I do remember playing in the rain when I was 9. The 90s were good to me. I remember playing with my friends and being outside in thunderstorms just having a good time. I really miss those days.

Thanks for responding. The early 90's were really good to me, but as I got older I realized life isn't all a rosebed...the thorns seem to get in the way!

Great story, my memory would come from when I was about 7 years old. It was storming that day in the summer time. I normally went outside to play and saw some of the other kids on the block playing in the small river of water that had formed along the curb of the street we lived. That's how much it was raining. So I got permission and when out there with them. It was so exciting and the water was SOOO cold. We played tag, and took our shoes off and played in that small river. It was great. Thanks for allowing me to participate in this discussion. It's great to remember the good things about our childhood!
