When the advertising to the movies does not match.

I have been watching quite a few movies on tv on the movie channels and it seems that had I read the advertising, I would not have bothered watching them. I mean the person writing does not get things right. I had one movie that I wanted to watch, and the advertising said that it was about those who denied the Holocaust and about a concentration camp survivor who fought against that false idea. The movie was called Never Forget, but it also happened to be the title of a recent movie about a killer who pretended to lose his memory after murdering a whole lot of people on a camping trip. Now I had already seen that movie, it was not that good and I hoped that the movie was the one about the fight against those denying the Holocaust. So have you ever read the advertising on the Tv listings and when you went to watch the movie, found it was not as advertised?

Does not happen here. They will tell you part of what the movie is about or the small scene that the writer was interested in, but not the general picture.

I have went to a channel and the tv listing/guide said it was a different show or movie. I recognized the television or movie so I knew it wasn't right. I hate it when they do that because I think oh, I have something good to watch. Then I go to the channel and it's a different movie/show. I also hate it when they preview movies to be something they are not. For instance preview a movie to be funny when the movie is a drama movie with 1 or two parts that are funny. I also don't like it when they show you all of the funny parts to a movie on a preview. Then when you watch the movie you have seen all of the funny parts. This one I think is the one I hate the most.

We have a Comedy Movie Channel on Canadian TV, and I expect to see movies such as "Don't Move or My Mum will Shoot" or "Police Squad--" or Police Academy and I get movies that are definitely not comedies, or only have one line. At least on the Action Adventure channel they get it right.
