I am a home maker now. Before marriage I worked for an year after college and immediately got married. Now I am busy with my kids. So I couldn't think about going outside and work now. How many years have you been working? or worked? did you like your job. why did u leave your job. I liked my job. since I had to come here, I quit my job.

I am also a homemaker now though its just started about 16 days now I am enjoying it. I was a former executive secretaty to the CEO for almost 8 years before I became a homemaker. I use to love that career but the company that I was into decides to closed so I don't have a choice but to stay at home with my baby and try to earn some luck in the net.

I quit my job to get married then I went back to work 9 years later. I worked for 20 years as an nurse and a sleep technician. I did love my job. I had to quit because of a chronic illness. I am working from home a few hours a week typing for a local physician. I miss going into work everyday and being responsible for employees. I loved the challenge and patients. I miss that.

I first started out as a mailing clerk which I wroked during my college years. I wasn't long after I took a data entry position at the same company after I graduated. I stayed there for nearly a year untill my first son was born, I sought out better employment. I looked for something that would benifit me more finacialy and be better fit to my accounting degree. I eneded up working in an accounting firm for a major software company. I started out in the payroll division as a clerk and 8 years later worked my way up into a management position. Now I am in charge of the whole division. I didn't care for the job that much when I first started out but stuck in it for my sons. Really I just didn't get along as well with some of my bosses but luckily I was able to move up into a higher ranked position and not have to deal with that anymore. I have now been with the company for nearly 16 years now and could not be more happier with the way things are going now. The only thing that could get me to leave this job would be a promotion or a much higher paying salery.

I am a homemaker too, I have been for 9 years now. Before this I worked as a care assistant in a nursing home, where I was earning a qualification to go into training as a nurse. Unfortunately it was not to be, but never mind. I did like my job yes, I liked it a lot but it was 12 hour shifts, my hubby also worked 12 hours shifts at the time and so it meant that our kids would have never seen either of us so one of us had to really give it up. As hubby was earning way more than me I decided to stop working.

I loved my job, but gave it up to get married and have a family. When the children were in high school, I had a job I loved with a newspaper office, but the paper closed down. I really like being at home though - can't imagine having to put on make-up or get dressed up to go out and work now.
