When you have apple pie do you eat it on its own or have it with cream, ice cream or custard? If cream, what kind do you have? Whipped, carnation, fresh etc? If ice cream, what flavour do you have? Do you eat your apple pie cold or warm?

My preferences for apple pie are simple, lightly warmed and on its own. I eat the outer edge of the crust first, then the top crust, finishing with the baked apple filling and bottom crust. I know people who melt cheese on top of their apple pie though I have never tried it to recommend it one way or another. It sounds a bit odd, but then, so does how I eat a piece of apple pie.

I do not think how you eat your apple pie sounds odd but I think melting cheese on top of the apple pie sounds absolutley disgusting lol. It reminds me of when my Mam has cheese on her scones or teacakes. Urgh! I always have jam. I like pineapple on my pizza. I think that is nice but I do not really fancy cheese with sweet stuff like apple pie.

My preference is to eat it hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I'm not real fussy though. I happily eat it cold with or without something on the side.
