I've set a goal of reading at least 50 books by this time next year. Hopefully I will be able to read more than that, I heard of some reading 100 books in a year, but I have a life so I'll set my goal at 50. What books do you think I should read? I like pretty much any type, fiction or non fiction, mystery, romance, historical fiction is my favorite though. List away!

One word, my friend, 'Twilight'. It's a book series written by none other than Stephenie Meyer. It's a great fictional book and I enjoy reading it very much! I won't spoil it to you, in case you would like to read it. But take my word: It's great! I hope you'll try to read it if you have the time!

Tuesdays with Morrie and The Shadow Children Series. This is a young adult book series but it is really deep. I own all six books the last three of which I got the day they came out because I couldn't wait to read them. Also, anything by Susan Strempek Shea especially Shelf Life, and the Monk series of mystery books. Its based on the television character Monk but completely different stories than on T.V. and you really get to know Natalie.

I like to read, and my TBR list is endless. As for what books do you want to read, it will really depend on what kind of genre you like. I usually choose my books by authors I like, and by fellow readers' recommendations. There is a neat site called gnooks.com, which has a literature map. You type in an author you like, and it will give you a web of other authors that are similar to your fave. That will give you plenty to start. Or you can join a reading community like goodreads.com. As for my own recommendation, I like PNR or paranormal romance novels, I would suggest JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. There are six books out so far, and I'm just crazy about them..LOL.. Have fun reading!

Well, you can start with the Harry Potter series, that alone is already 7 books so you'll be down to 43, ^_^ or maybe the tolkien series lord of the rings... If you're into romance mystery you can try JD Robb books. or maybe books by Sidney Sheldon or Danielle Steele, I have yet to read a book they wrote that I didn't like. You can also try those political, espionage stuff by Michael Crichton and the likes. You really have plenty of choice in reading books, it all just depends of your mood and the genre you generally would like to start reading on, but those that I mentioned are good ideas in starting out. Hope this helps ^_^
