How long time you did not see your mun and dad?

true i was very close and always with them during my college days..but when i turned to career i miss them a lot....i felt very homesick in initial days and i lost those caring and being in their hands a lot....but really my parents motivated me and given lot of spirit about leading the life....i kept their words and the words are living with me. i do see them atleast twice in a year based on occassion but for me seeing them is different from living with them... So i could say, its utmost 7 years being with them. Always seeing is different from living.....I missed my living with them but i could make them proud of being a SON here.

It's been months since I saw my parents and just like you I miss them a lot. We are working far away from them and what we usually do is to send them money for fare if they want to visit us. I think we'll gonna let them visit us by September or October. Happy posting!

I moved a little over 3 years ago, to another state 1600 miles away from my parents. I have had only one chance to go back and see them since my move, due to work, travel expenses, etc. But we do talk on the phone at least two to three times a week. Which it is good that we can phone each other that often, but I still miss them. Before I made this move I was only living 2 hours away, so I would go for a visit on weekends, when I wasn't working.

hi meifrank, i still live with my mother (and my sister) . but i won't be able to see my father anymore. he passed away a long time ago, when i was still a 4 grader. well, he is still living in our heart anyway. you are lucky you still have both your parents. make sure to be good with them. you don't want to loss your chance to show your love and respect to them. good luck!

Right now I am staying with mum and dad all the time.But next month,school will start and I am gonna live in dorms,a little bit far from home but I can still meet them online frequently.

The last time I saw my dad in person was sometime in November 2004, so it's almost 4 years now. But thank technology for webcams so I get to see him from time to time. My mom lives about 10 minutes (by car) from us so we see her almost every day. We hear from her every day. :)

I have not seen my Mother for about two years now and my Father for over three. They are not together and live at opposite sides of Australia. As for me, I have been living in Egypt for the last year and before that was living in two other different countries so it has been a long time since I have been home. I miss my Mother sometimes yes but we do stay in touch over email mainly.

i have gone a little over a year before when i moved away but i moved back when i saw they were in bad health..
