Personal banking information sold on Ebay for 35 pounds

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/afp/080826/world/britain_us_banking_internet_company_rbs_ebay_data_1 So someone bought this computer on Ebay for 35 pounds and found personal banking information such as mother's maiden name etc. Good thing he is an honest man, if it falls to the hands of other people, it's going to be a different story. Has this ever happened in your country? Over here I read a few times some banks were hacked. I wonder if there is still such a place to keep money safe.

Nothing is safe those days. I am sure that some banks are better than others. In general anything can happen with our personal information.

i's scary isnt it we can arm ourselves with best security software or being vigilant with our papers but every day criminals come up with something new
