do you ever catch yourself looking in both directions, "just in case"? Me, I always do it... "just in case", better double check...Should I say I'm too cautious, or it's just a habit to look both ways... how bout you, do you feel the same? Happy posting!

I do it too, more because it is force of habbit than anything. Its a good thing to do though, like you said "just in case" better safe than sorry.

I think it is a very good habit to look both ways before crossing the road. You never know man, and I do not think you are over cautious or paranoid. I can safely bet that almost everyone does the same. Especially if you are born in a city like mumbai where there might be cyclists or even people approaching from the other side, it is almost a reflex action and a natural thing to do.

Mom always said, "Look BOTH ways before you cross the street." I do think its a habit but I also think its a good one to keep! There are people on the news all the time for driving down the street the wrong way. A few weeks ago on the Houston News there was a granny goin the wrong way on the freeway!

many times i have done it and because we get used to of what we are doing then it is just a routine chores that we do and it is by any chance unconsciously done since it is a repetitive actions. that's what i thought so..!!

Yes, I do. Just because I know its a one-way street doesn't mean some idiot behind the wheel has worked it out! I think its conditioned into us to follow the 'Green Cross Code' or whatever particular safety code we were taught as a kid.
