well in our country we do like to eat heavy meal. like rice and sinigang or adobo. easy to prepare and we love it. like in adobo, we used pork and chicken. cut into cubes and chicken cut into bite size. soy sauce and vinegar. mix them together and let it simmer until its well done. separate the sauce and fried the pork and chicken a little. put back the sauce and let it simmer for another 1 minute and its done. put chili if you want.

OK rusti, This is my favorite quick but yummy dinner. If you like pizza, you'll love this, I hope. Depending on the size of your family--there is just my hubby and I. I get the widest loaf of french bread. Prego original sauce. not pizza sauce. use whatever toppings you like. We like hot Jimmy Dean sausage, onions, black olives and mozzarella cheese. I toast the bread after slicing in half long ways. Then layer, sauce, toppings, cheese. Bake till brown at 375 to 400. I hope you enjoy it. It's so easy. leenie

i know wha tyou mean. Used to be easy to fix supper, then with the price of groceries going up every day it seems we can only afford the same thing every time we go to the grocery store. I seem it is cheaper to buy a steak any more than a chicken. I refuse to give them $6. for a chicken. Did you ever try making breakfast for supper? Some times I like the change. I go to the internet and type in free recipes and look at what they show in recipes to see if I can find something different to do with those pork chops or hamburger. They have a lot of great recipes. I can't find anything in the grocery that even looks good to buy anymore. There is site called "Recipes 4 Living that has some great and easy recipes. Good Luck with your search.

There are tons of recipies on the internet. I think recipie goldmine.com is a great site. If you cant find a good recipie there it probably doesnt exist. I have those Kraft cooking magaizines that come out, whenever I feel stuck for what to make I consult those for ideas. They always come up with some good ones.
