Does anyone use SOLAR powered Emergecy LAMP?

Friends, we have been talking and chatting about conserving our MOTHER EARTH, and keeping the nature GREEN. all tall talk, and we do practically nothing to promote our IDEAL CONCEPTS. The other day, i WAS shocked when a school girl asked me to REMOVE the electricity depending EMERGENCY LAMP, which works by charging from the electricity itself. She asked me to go for a SOLAR CHARGED lamp. which would be good for nature, and would work out to be cheap too. What do you all say about this? ARE you all mere TALKERS? like me, or do you have any practical solutions?
