Does history repeat?

If you live in New Orleans in USA are you leaving, do you think the storm that is coming is a Katrina repeat? I think if I hade been through what you were, I'd get out. I would not trust the Government to take care of me and I certianly don't think they made you city safe. Whatever happens good luck to you.

I feel the same way. I would make arrangements to leave. It's just not worth it. And right now even a lower rated hurricane will cause severe damage as the protective measures in place right now are nowhere near where they were when Katrina hit. Devastation is enough, but we really don't need so many lives lost again. I'm hoping the storm will turn and cause no problem whatsoever, but personally, if I would live there, I would not risk it.
