Yes, I rate everybody who responds to my discussions. I also rate the poster of the discussions which I respond and I will also rate all the posts in the same discussion. I always give a positive and if I don't like a response, then I just don't rate it. I would never give a negative just because I don't agree with the response. I have just given you a positive rating. Happy posting.

I generally tend to give positive ratings, what you give you receive!! At least I think this works. I don't generally like giving negative ratings but if there's something that you are so unhappy with, and you have no choice, then I guess you give a negative rating. I'm just wondering though whether it affects your own position or anything because I'm not sure about that. On another note, you want to try and build friendships here not break them down, but you do have to be truthful towards yourself, follow your heart as they say! Andrew

Frankly, eversince I joined myLot and the ratings were implemented, I can't remember if I have even utilized this feature. Unless if I feel if a topic or a comment deserves my rating or if it really struck me then I may apply the necessary rating.

I've never tried giving ratings really..does it somehow affect something though?
