what eats up most of your hard drive space?

I got movies (major part contains adult series) collection and softwares. Movies for my entertainment and backup of softwares soo i dont need to look for somthing in market. Other things are just coming in and going out.

my hubby is a software developer so most of our space is allotted to his programming materials

movies take max. space

my anime series collection eats up my hard drive space. They are like 4G in every complete series and i had to burn them to a dvd. I had experience once that they comsumed 30G of my PC and i immediately burned them. Another would be my various software collections which reached to a maximum of 10G. I am very fond of downloading softwares online so there.. Also another is my music collection (mostly of jpop and jrock genre and anime songs) which reached up to a maximum of 3G. Ah, i forgot.. my manga collection too.. they had reached to a maximum of 10G.. I had downloaded lots of them until i found out that they had reached a size of 10G.. I love reading them though..

Music definatly eats up my hard drive more than anything...I download tons of music...Probably at least two albums a day on average, so that adds up pretty quickly...Luckily I have an ipod, so when the collection gets out of hand, I'll just upload all on to the ipod, then delete it off my computer... Movies take up a lot of space to, but I usually try to burn them to disc as soon as it's done downloading so I don't run out of space... I alos just recently purchased a 500 gb external hard drive, so I think I'll have enough free space for a long time to come now! -Mike

i have 160GB, 80Go go for Web Software and Scripts, projects i work to and stuffs like that, 40Go for the system :) and the rest is used particulary for Music and games. movies i just watch online, im addicted to that now lol so no more Downloading :)

Movies take up most of my hard disk space. got around 200 movies in DVD's and around 20-40 movies in hard disk as of now. I clear the Hard disk space once in every month.

Same as what you have. But most are programs used by IT students as I am one. Also games, I love games, and download a lot of it. And it eats up my hard drive space. Actually for my IT programs alone, its more than 60GB. So I have external drives.

Mostly I have tons of media, videos, music of my favorite JPop group NEWS, pictures, magazine scans, flash games kept on my laptop, though I have more than three cases worth of DVDs that I burned containing the same. =)

Games and music. And maby random software.

I also have two hard drives. Movies and games are the one that eat most its space. I usually just delete the movies I've watched after a month but of course I just can't delete my games.
