Dual Purpose

I like to respond to as many friend's discussions as possible. I fall so far behind at times it's almost impossible to catch up and be halfway current with my responses. I have found, however, that responding to older discussions serves a dual purpose. I am responding to my friends and their discussions are being tossed back into the discussion area again in order for this friend to potentially earn more from the responses. Have you looked at myLot in this respect?

Well, I try to get around to check all of my friends on at least a monthly basis. I do respond to older discussions because I feel as though it is important to my friends. Then I check out my needed best responses to mark, and then I check out the interests folder, then the other discussions. I can really see how it can help your earnings to be sure. Take care.

I am on AOL so the email limit is 1,000. I'm coming upon that now so I need to clear some of the discussions. I try real hard to respond to all but it's not possible. Thanks for responding.

I like responding to old or older discussions. You're right, Carolbee, it's brings our friends' discussions back to the forefront, so to speak. Like you I like to respond to all my email alerts but it's really hard sometimes. Anyway, have a wonderful weekend.

No, I never looked at it that way. I try to answer all the discussions in my email to no avail most of the time. I wonder how much we earn from the responses? We'll never know I'm sure. Anyway, I won't feel so delinquent answering the discussions weeks later now. Hey, I'm helping, right?

I really think the lowest payout is earned from responding to discussions. I earn more when I start a discussion. I don't always have good pictures to load into a discussion either which is also minimal payout. And yes, you are helping. Thanks for responding.

Yes, I noticed that if I start discussions in the beginning of the week, very few responses, but if I get some and give a best response on the weekend, then they start up again. So I sort have done what you're talking about.

I don't respond late on purpose. Just don't have enough hours in the day to respond to my friend's discussions. Thanks for responding.

I am atleast a month behind right now. Makes it difficult to get caught up. Next I end up deleting the much older discussions when it gets close to having 1,000 emails in my inbox. Thanks for responding.

I do that too sometimes carolbee. I also think getting it back out there might even bring it to someone's attention and might find they have something in common with them and they end up on each other's friend's list.

I have....I do have some old discussions that I am still working on to give best response....when I started doing them I realized that suddenly people were responding to them even if they were a year old! So Yes...I have looked at them in that respect!

I believe it helps everyone. I just get so far behind in responding to discussions that many times it's not done on purpose. Thanks for responding.

I know it happens, because every so often I'll have someone respond to an older discussion of mine and then I'll get several more responses to it from others within a short period of time. I'd like to respond to all of them, but usually when that happens it's a discussion that's already run its course and I don't really have anything left to say about it, as I'm burned out. I am thankful for every extra response, though, no matter when it pops up!

I think that this is a very good idea. It re-circulates the whole discussions agian! You get paid for responding they get paid a little more because more folks see their discussions that may not have seen them before. By the discussion getting re-circulated it could pick up 5 more responses or more! So yes i thibnk that this is a very good idea!

Sometimes I do this by accident. I fall behind maybe a month or more and then respond to discussions. Brings the older ones back into play again. Thanks for responding.
