Plans for the holiday w/end?

What does everyone have planned for the holiday weekend? Anyone attending any bbq's or any other kind of plans. We're not up to much. We're just going to visit w/family & friends. The weather is a little cooler so that helps w/outside plans. Hope everyone has a nice & safe holiday.

I don't have any BIG plans but yesterday Sat. I did go to the Cherokee National Holiday in Tahlequah, Ok. Its a big festival we have every year celebrating the Cherokee Indian and when we settled here in Oklahoma, they have a big pow-wow with dancers from all over the country, and Native arts and crafts, and all kinds of good things going on all weekend, and alot of good food. Other than that, I'm not planning on anything else, may have a cookout tomorrow sometime. I hope everybody else has a good weekend and stay safe.....Have a good day

Hi there halynn!
Although we are not celebrating Labor Day here in our country on the 1st day of September (as we celebrate it on May 1), it will still be a holiday for us here in our city. That is because we are celebrating the Charter Day of our city. It's the 99th anniversary of our city and I heard that there will be a lot of activities in store for the people of our city. My boyfriend and I are planning to go out of town but we have not finalized the plans yet.
