Did you know that the bathroom in the airplane has an air freshener??

Well, one that we were on has it. Our plane stopped in St. Louis to drop people off and pick some up before we got to Las Vegas and right before we landed my stomach started not feeling too well. I told my husband that as soon as they let us move around, I HAD to go to the bathroom and it wasn't going to be pleasant for whoever had to go in after me. I felt kinda bad about it, but there wasn't a whole lot I could do about it either... So, I kinda ducked past the person waiting after me like "hey, it wasn't my fault" and didn't even make eye contact. Well after that person, the captain went in and he made this horrible face, reaches up over the door and squeezes something. It had to have been an air freshener or something because after that he went in. The next time I had to use the restroom on the plane, I checked for one but didn't see it. Do all airplanes have a freshener in the bathroom?

Hey reiny, I have no idea if they have air freshners. It's been about 8 years since I've been on a plane. I think they do, but I'm not 100% sure. I hate those tiny bathrooms! Well, I hate just about everything about being on a plane in general! I have to take a flight to Florida soon to see my mom so I'll be sure to check out the bathroom and get back to you on that.lol

Oh, I hate them too, but I had no choice in the matter this time. I HAD to go or it'd have been a mess. What airline are you flying? We flew southwest.

I haven't booked a flight yet but it will probably be Delta or Jet Blue or whoever is reasonably priced!

You should look into Southwest (if they're available), they're very reasonably priced.

I think some airplanes have those automatic air fresheners that give a little hit of fragrance intermittently, or maybe those ones that have a continuous scent. Seems like it would be a good idea for such a small room that gets a lot of business.

I don't know that I've been in the bathroom enough to really know what's in them. This may have been the 2nd time I'd ever used the one on the plane. Then next plane we were on though, I did look and I couldn't see anything. It's definitely a good idea though!
