What did you do with the first salary you got from your job?

hi aniakim! i got my first job back in August 2004. i was so excited then and i thought of buying anything i like. but when i got home, i ended up taking my nieces and nephew to the mall and i bought them new sets of clothes and treating them for food in a nearby fastfood chain. so it all ended up them having fun and me, without something new, like a new clothes or something. but i was glad with the joy that i saw in them when they were taking home their new clothes.

I can hardly even remember this far back! I actually saved the first month or so of my weekly salaries at first and then as my first ever purchase with my hard earned money ended up buying myself a dress shirt. I remember this well becasue me bringing home this shirt was followed by a lecture from my Father regarding the importance of saving blah, blah, blah. lol.

I can still remember that I bought my first ipod with my first salary. It was indeed fulfilling, considering that I used my own funds to purchase something I wished for^^ Happy mylotting!

I'm not sure. It has been so long ago. I have at my job for 15 years. I really needed the job bad so I'm sure I paid some bills.
