Hello myLotters... I love banana cake/bread. I am currently doing it with the box on groceries with ready mix ingredients. Can I seek help to anybody here if they have a recipe for banana cake/bread and can bake it with my oven toaster? Thanks in advance! God bless

Hi bea, I am not really a fan of banana...anything. Except banana chips! mmm Okay...if your toaster oven is like mine then it can hold a normal sized bread pan. Here is a link to come recipes for banana bread and banana cake. Lots to choose from and reviews by many other cooks to give you a fair idea of how good the recipe is and if you might want to make any add-ins, changes, etc. to make the recipe better or if it is fine as is! http://allrecipes.com/Search/Recipes.aspx?WithTerm=banana%20bread&SortBy=Rating&Direction=Descending http://allrecipes.com/Search/Recipes.aspx?WithTerm=banana+cake&SearchIn=All&SortBy=Rating&Direction=Descending

Hi bea, You're welcome. Also if a recipe does make 2 or 3 loaves, try to scale the servings down to half or third the recipe ingredients, depending on the yield. Most online recipes has the yield and servings listed and also an option change the serving number to more or less. Hope you find something nice

It may be hard to do unless you get a small recipey, or you have an unusually large toster oven. Most recipies make 2 or 3 loaves, and you'll never be able to fit more then one in a standard toaster oven, and maybe not even one if it's not tall enough. Overall I don't think it would be possible, unless you have one that's larger and taller then the standard toaster oven. Not enough air circulation.

Hello jsmith... thanks for your reply. As I mentioned above, I am currently doing it in a standard oven toaster. I wonder what is the difference from the ingredients in an instant mix from a box and the other ingredients which are mentioned in a grocery. Do they have the same content? Or is it the baking procedure only?
