In your opinion, are 'rollover' minutes worth it?

Do you have 'rollover' minutes included in your plan? Do you use them? I don't have rollover on my plan although I wish it was offered. Some months I use up almost all of my anytime minutes, other times I use hardly any. What about you? Do you have rollover and do you use the extra from time to time?

I forgot you could use up anytime minutes I haven't used a significant portion of my minutes in so long. I have Sprint and my anytime starts at 7 but the only time I use a lot of minutes is when I talk to my mom, i will talk for her for a few hours, or when I talk to friends but only if I have not seen them for awhile will I keep it long, I guess Im just not a phone person but mostly I have to be in a certain MOOD to talk on a phone but yet I can chat away here on mylot?? But funny part is that I have a friend just like me and I get frustrated with her when Im all chatty and she is not in the mood to talk and its usually really obvious because her responses are so short and to the point. I have only went over my minutes one time since I have had my phone and that has been for five years. I try to just keep my phone talking to business and prefer talking to someone in person, I like being able to catch up that way too, but mostly I think i get this what many would consider weird habit, from my father that did the same thing with us growing up, the phone talking had to be abrupt and if you wanted to chat it up with friends he said your free to do so while your in school, I was a big note writer anyways--but when my father wasn't around, at work or wherever, my oldest brother and my youngest sister would spend hours!!! Hope I answered your question all right.

I talk a LOT to a couple assorted people and that's it. I mean we usually see each other every day, so we use the phone frequently to chat while we are figuring out where or when to meet, if we're stuck waiting somewhere or in traffic. Other than that I'm not a big phone person. The problem is that I DO talk hours and hours every month with my best friend, and we rely on phone when her husband is home since he works a weird shift. He can be gone for 3 days and then be home for 2, and when he's home, I usually don't meet up with her or go over there. I average over 2000 minutes a month between her home and cell from my cell, and that's only my cell. I also call her from my landline lol.

I have rollover minutes on my plan and I think it is a great feature. My phone usage varies from month to month and I like to be able to carry over my unused minutes to the next month, or any month within a year. It just makes sense, you paid for the minutes, you should get to use them at a later date if you don't use them now!

I wish every plan included rollover because you're right, some months you use more than others. I do average over 2000 minutes of free time, so I guess my plan actually gives me around 2300 min, that's a lot of time to be honest lol.

My plan dosn't include roll over. If it did it would help me much right now because I barly us all my minutes as it is.

I don't have "roll-over" minutes but since I have unlimited plan, I really don't have worry about that... I use my phone for everything & on an average month, I use somewhere between 2,500 - 3,000 minutes... I have T-Mobile & they don't even offer the "roll-over"s... I'm paying $116 a month for unlimited everything... $100 for voice calling part & sms & mms, then I'm also paying $20 a month for blackberry access... That gives me unlimited emails & internet access... I do work for a retail store that gives me 15% discount on my bill so after all the taxes & fees, my total bill a month comes out to be about $116, never goes up & never goes down... One friend of mine has a sister & she's got a basic plan with roll-over... That's the one with 450 minutes a month that rolls over, she gets 5,000 off peak - nights & weekends - minutes but they don't roll... She had her phone for about 8 month & she has about 500 minutes stacked up... She did say she went over few times & those "rolled" minutes really help...
