My boyfriend and I have been together over 6 1/2 years and even though it hasn't always been roses, it's definitely the best relationship I've been in, as far as maturity and teamwork goes. Working as a unit is SO important and in the past, the relationships have been very selfish, as far as it was 2 individuals in a relationship.
As long as you have a mutual respect for one another, you will continue to celebrate more anniversaries. :) I hope you guys have something special planned - 5 years is nothing to scoff at! :)
