Do you Fall down easily or are you Accident Prone?

I fell down Again today. It happened in the middle of a shopping district and in front of many people. I am accident prone and have fallen down countless times. I've fallen out of a bus, into a bus, on an escalator, on a normal pavement, at a car park, at home and many other places before. Are there any remedy for this problem? I always remind myself to walk properly but it doesn't seem to work. Do you have the same problem as me? or Are you Accident free?

Oh my poor shui tong, did it hurt bad? I hope you get well soon and it is not too serious... I think most people do get into accidents. They can't help it. Accidents and accidents and no matter how you try, if it is "yours", it is yours and you will get hurt. We try to keep safety in mind but the rest, we leave to upstairs. Thankfully it is not a frequent thing for me. Touch wood!

Well, if you are superstitious... then you may agree. Anyway the 7th month is over so you should be "happy".

Well, I'm not superstitious but it's good to be safe than sorry.. (Am I contradicting myself? )

Yesterday's fall was considered minor. If it's 'yours', it's yours?! I don't want it be mine. I remember last year's lunar 7th month, I fell down 3 times. My friend tried to scare me by saying the 'good brothers' are pulling me.

I am extremely accident prone…I sometimes feel that at the time of my birth, the constellations were such that I am destined to slip and fall on dry flat ground throughout my life. There’s nothing on the floor its clean and dry and down goes my body again, as if of its own free will. Thousands are walking along the footpath, along with my hubby…we are holding hands, very lovey-dovey and then suddenly I am nowhere! Hubby actually cant believe his eyes that someone can actually twist her ankles on almost any surface on the world… Let’s have a competition, you and me, as to who can fall the max times and the winner gets a million dollars in insurance OK?

You may not be entirely wrong. I have read that constellations may indeed cause someone to be afflicted by certain fortunes or misfortunes. I do hope though that it is not the case for you. I think being positive would help a lot. Cheers!

Let's listen to wizard and be Positive. I don't want to compete and I wish for no winner. Hold on more tightly to your hubby and be protected by him.

LOL =D WHat happen to u wor, very pai seh de lei.. hehe I'm not someone to fall down easily, because my reaction is very fast.. haha.. Maybe it's due to my exercise and running all that which trains up my reaction time.. hehe But i'm more towards accident prone, meaning i can get bruises or cuts very easily without realising it.. haha =D But i have not fallen down in public b4 because i dun want everybody to be looking at my sorry state.. hehe Hopefully u are fine now after u fell down today ^_^

I am very accident prone as well! I am always bumping into things, walking backwards into things and falling over. I don't know why, but I seem to be very unsteady on my feet!

Same here. I can't balance well. We need to be more careful when we walk.

I always run into things, get hit in the face by things, trip (especially up stairs), hit my shoulder on corners of walls and things, etc. I especially get hurt at work and school. Today I got hit in the face by a hanger at work. (I work at a thrift clothes store)

Hmm... well, you just have to be more careful then. Just make sure you look properly before you take the next step. Wear lighter shoes? I mean, one of the reason why you are always tripping is because you cannot lift your legs high enough to go over the obstacle rite? So wearing lighter shoes may help. The other one is to just say a little prayer for safety before you go out. It may help. And then a little prayer of thanks before you go into your home at the end of your day.

ha ha ha ha ha... even at home you are tripping over your feet? Well then, you can try the prayer early in the morning before you get out of bed then. Pray for a day where you will not trip. Pray that you will be safe and not have any more injuries from those falls you constantly have. Then at the end of the day, give a prayer of thanks for a safe day where you never trip or fall before you go to bed.

So far I am accident free and I hardly can remember when I fell last time. You must try changing your shoes because they may slip and you fall down.

I don't think it's the shoes. I can fall down in slippers, high heel shoes, track shoes and etc. I think it's the way I walk.

so sorry to hear that u fell down again today. Remembering a character in one of our local movie where a girl had this problem and she falls down in almost every scene. I think this problem of yours is quite unique and unusual, or else how would u manage to fall into a bus?!! Also which fall made you more embarrassed? or which one did u enjoy most? I don't have this problem of falling (except during sports), i don't even remember when i fell last time! But once i got slammed into a bus, and that was really funny, i was in a hurry and was rushing into a bus which has not yet stopped but the bus braked early than i expected and i got slammed into the side of the bus instead of going through the door!! That was a pretty funny incident which i still laugh about!

Ouch.. Slamming onto the side of the bus must be painful.. but it's indeed quite a funny sight. Most memorable fall would be the one I fall into a small drain. I was walking between 2 friends and suddenly I disappeared from their sight. My entire leg went into a drain. The skin near my knee cap was sliced off by the metal piece and bleeding profusely. The way I suddenly disappeared from my friends' sight was funny and my friends were still laughing at me about it. All falls are embarrassing. Most embarrassing fall was when I fall out of the bus. There were so many people around.

So far, none of my friends are cross with me. They only laugh at me. Perhaps we should pay more attention to the surrounding. We should not think so much about not falling down. The more we think, the more likely we fall.

At least i'm not alone. My mom sarcastically calls me grace. Because if i'm anything, it is NOT graceful. I trip over everything including my own feet. My husband was just now wondering how I got another three bruises on my leg. For the life of me I can't remember. Good to know i'm not the only one.

I recall having a cast on my right arm, stitches in my eyebrow, and scratches, cuts, and bruises on my legs and knees once going into the ER for yet more stitches on my head. The Dr whom we knew personally asked, "What next Mrs. O?" She laughed saying, 'Shhhh!" Hahahaha! I was an accident prone child to say the least. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh.. I get those unknown bruises too. I can't recall how I got them too. When you are out with your hubby, you should grab him tight so that you won't fall.

LOL I must admit I have the same exact problem and I think it happens mostly when I'm thinking about not falling. One incident I was with two friends and one was pregnant before walking down the flight of stairs I specifically stated to my pregnant friend 'hold on to the rail DONT FALL' three stairs later tumbled down ALL what seemed like 35 of them. I've fallen up stairs, downstairs, down hills etc. you name it I've done it. I think the cure is to not think about it as hard....but thats kind of hard to do when you're used to constantly falling!!!

When I was about 9 or so I was in a Boys home for juvinile deliquents. I ended up getting kicked out due to being accident prone. I broke an arm, a leg, and had to have stitches two times. they refused to pay any more medical bills. So they called my parents and the courts stating their refusal to house me any longer. Now days I am not that way. Guess I learned the hard way huh? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
