I read the other day that celebrities are paid scale for being on the Muppets. The Scale was a little over $700 per day. I'm wondering if that is what an actor who is not well known gets for a brief appearance with lines on a TV show and if whether it is primetime or a daytime soap makes a difference. Anyone know about this? And while on the subject what do extras, no lines, on TV shows and movies, for that matter, make?

Are they still making a muppets series? haven't seen any since The Muppets Tonight (and that would've been over 10 years ago now ) remember watching the origanal series in the 80s (- must of been repeats) Was this how much guest stars got paid at the time or what they get in royalties now the origanal episodes are being released on dvd.

I'm pretty sure the Muppets is still on with new shows at a time when childrens shows or shown. It may be that it is on on public television. Anyway the data is curren and for current appearances.
