Actualy although I am leaning towrds supporting McCain/Palin, I was and still am looking at Chuck Baldwin of the constitution party or ROn paul as an independant. The reason being, thugh I like McCain and he stands a better chance over the other 2 I mentioned, is that the other 2 are a lot closer to the original idea's this contry was founded on, very limited federal government, very limited social programs and regulation, minimal taxation, broad state's rights and control over their own state. Many people in the world do not realize that we have far more than just 2 parties and that neither of these parties completely represent what was originaly intended. we were never intendded to have a large and intigrated federal government, it was supose to be skelital and the rest of the power was to be with in the individual staes instead. So though I identify with the republican party more than the democrats, it still misses the mark on a lot of these core issues for me, I guess I'll probably wind up voting McCain as I feel if I don't my vote will go to someone who stands no chance of winning. I wish more people would supprt the lesser parties, then we as a nation would have far more choice of our nations destiny and we wouldn't be cornered by our own citizens in to voting for one of 2 parties.

I totally agree with you but why won't you vote for Barack Obama? He is much better than John Mccain. Though if you want to vote for the independent then that is still a good choice.

Why is it you think Obama is the better candidate? I'm not supporting him because Barak Obama is absolutely so far removed from the ideology of this country. Many people do not seem to realize this. Obama's answer to everything is a more government. More government programs, more government spending, more government regulation. Thats not what this country is about. The less federal government the better. It simply is not what our society is based on. People are blinded by his amazing speaking ability. He utters vague wortds like change in a fancy setting and flowery speech and people seem to just fall at his feet. I don't think some people really realize what he is about. The others I mentioned aren't independants, Chuck Baldwin is running for the constitution party and Ron paul, though independant now, was running as a republican.
