if u get a friend request here at mylot, where u didnt like the avatar..

An avatar wouldn't matter to me at all I guess unless its mature content. I would accept the friend request. If the person seems to be a pain after that or gets irritating you could always remove them from your friend list. But I don't think too mature content would be there a it would violate the rules of myLot pics and images so you could just report one if you find to the staff and they would take care of the rest.

I accept a friend request with the hope of receiving his/her PM of why he/she want me as a friend. There must be a reason why? for example want to send information! but some friend are just silent friend. Aviator is not important but sometime i do think twice to those shabby,dirty and cruel face/photo.

I don't think I have ever really taken much notice of the avatar when accepting a friend request to be honest. I generally only receive friend requests when I have responded to someone's discussion and you can pretty much tell what type of person they are from the discussion context itself, so this is enough for me to make a decision whether to accept or not! We can always delete them later if we made a bad judgement.

If the avatar has a political maning that I find offensive I will not accept the friendship. I can imagine there might be other kinds of avatars as well that I might think offensive or so disgusting that I will deny the request. It has not happened so far.

Why not? I don't reject friend requests unless I really dislike the person...but I've found that all Mylot people I've met so far are kind and friendly! So here's to Mylot and all its contributors! Thanks for being excellent friends!

LOL! I cannot stop laughing.........yes, sometime I do think lot about avatar and if it does not appeal me, I may deny the request for adding that person in my list of friends. Some avataars, I find, are very shabby and replusive and I do not feel comfortable, while seeing them. But finally I go to the profile of that person and if the profile appeals me (even if the avatar is not upto the mark) I accept the request based on his/her detailed profile. If the person remains inactive for considerable period of time and does not participate in my discussions or vice versa.......I do not hesitate to delete his/her name, from my list of friends.

I hardly ever look at the avataar while accepting a friend. But I dont think I have any shabby or dirty or mature content avataar on my friend page.

I'm not sure if I would. I don't think people should put dirty or pictures of mature content on the internet. Not everyone wants to see these kind of pictures.
