the occurence of laptop everywhere...

i used to looked at those persons with laptop before as someone who can really afford to buy those. they are those persons who are really rich and can afford to buy anything.. but things had changed right now. things are different. every where i go, there are students, barely students, who are bringing their laptops and there are lots of them.. i wonder if poverty is really a problem in this country when we can afford to to buy..well, things changed. even i, i got one!.. hehe.. so how about you, is laptop are everywhere in your place?.. by the way, i am from the philippines, and i wonder if we have the same situation...thanks!

hi jing.. we are both from the Philippines and I agree that people form everywhere have laptops. It has become a necessity already. I got one too. It allows me to submit my term papers on time as I am taking my masters degree now. Life has become fast and easy to those who have laptops. I think people will still seek for easy living despite financial problems and issues on poverty

hi jing...i'm from the usa and it used to be like that with phones here. people had car phones before there were cell phones. and there would be a little antenna on the roof of their car. and when you saw that you'd think they were rich. then years later i got a cell phone and they are so common now. and much better than a car phone. and before that it was color tv. only rich people had color tv. or they would joke how someone's house was real old and run down but they had a color tv. they put all their money into the color tv. but now most people have a color tv. modern technology keeps advancing.

well, things are really advancing.. there are really things that we just cant control. and things happened so rapidly.. maybe next year, there will be new one.. do you know PSP.. i wanted to have one of it, and i know, i could have it when it will be common to all. hehe.. thanks.. let us be friends!

Hello jing. Laptops are flooding alright! I watched the Discovery Channel sometime two weeks ago, and I knew that even on places where there are no businessmen or students, laptops are scattered. Everywhere my friend, everywhere in the deep jungles of the Amazon, researchers and scattering it everywhere to record the sound that a crocodile does. Wow.....
