Have you ever seen a bride faint during the wedding ceremony?

I did once a number of years ago. We were all watching the couple say their vows when al of a sudden she was laying on the floor. I would have been so embarrassed. They revived her and set her in a chair while they finished the ceremony. She managed to act as cool and poised as if nothing had happened.

Close! In this instance her wedding was memorable, but she didn't have to pass out herself. :O)

I have never seen this happen. I think that would be so upsetting for the bride! Most brides get too worked up over the details of the wedding and then can't enjoy their special day. There is so much stress involved with planning a wedding. I hope the bride was able to laugh about this incident later!

Yes, she did. It's a special thing that happened on her special day, and she likes it that everyone remembers. Thanks for responding.

Wow!! I am not sure I would ever want to be at a Wedding and see something like this happen, as I am sure this would offset the tone of the Wedding for sure, and then everyone would sit and wonder what happened, and if the Bride is OK. I wonder if it was something Medical or if she just fainted from exhaustion from not wanting to eat or something. I know if it was me, I would have been too embarrased to probably want to go on.

I think her problem was all nerves. This wedding was 30 years ago, and no one has forgotten it. Thanks for responding.
