im a filipino---born, raised, and still residing in the philippines. though i'll be taking a vacation in the US this month. i'll be going with my sister. i'm really excited to go there (for the reason that i have yet to visit US and that i have yet to enter disneyland). hehe, the latter may sound weird coming from a 22 year old individual, but i would like to visit disneyland!! XD
also, i think i need some climate change. gosh! it really hot in the philippines evethough the 'ber' months have started.
we're targeting to be home by all soul's day. and if not, by christmas.
btw, how long have you been living in the states?

yup, what i have is a tourist visa. and i can't wait to feel the chill. right now, the coldest place i have been was when my friends and i went to baguio. oh, and the time i've spent standing in front of our open fridge. hehe...
winter?!? hhmm...i hope i can stay to see and feel the snow. (ang babaw ba? haha..) its a bit shallow but that's just me.
it will only be me and my sister, and if unbearable cold comes our way, we have packed one too many sweaters. you know, to compensate for the lack of 'kayakap' hehehe...

hi! i just got here last April. Wow! sounds good! you're coming here with tourist visa? that's great!!! It's already fall here and weather is starting to gets cold...grrrr...Winter will start this November and I am not sure if i can make it!! hahaha...i am in the coldest stated in US...grrrr pero ok lng may ka akap naman sa gabi...hahaha

I am a Filipino, too and love Filipinos more than any nationality. The culture, the tradition, the hospitality, it's all in the Philippines. Just forget the government and the corruption, Philippines would still be the best country I would love to live in.

Pinoy here. I am currently in the Philippines. And if fortune comes my way, there's a big probability that I'll be spending my teaching career at Maryland...
