In my short and colourful time at mylot i have only ever seen one post that was intended to inject some humour which i replied to because i found it very entertaining. Now i dont know whether that post got deleted because it never appeared in 'discussion i've replied to' so this begs the question 'does mylot allow such posts?' have you seen any funny/comedy posts within my lot? Most seem to be quite 'serious' which is cool, ppl can discuss whatever they choose but i was just wondering if humour is off the mylot agenda? Not dissin mylot at all i'm just curious

I enjoy humour in many forms myself and although I tend to involve myself in the more serious discussions a lot of the time it is refreshing to see funny stuff. I wish there was more! I am sure mylot has no issue if it is tasteful. I do know from the guidelines though that you are NOT allowed to post a joke as a topic.

I understand the mylot rule about not posting jokes but a funny story or parody would be acceptable? And yes i have to agree more humour would be a great thing to see at mylot

I think it would be fine yes. Especially if it is an original parody! It would be interesting to see if people will respond favourably to something like this or not. Thank you for the best response too!
